I loved Ashley so very much and my good friends! I was so sad to have to move to Raleigh for my senior year! I went on to Peace College and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill - taught school for 30 years and now retired....
I would sure love to hear from some of my dear friends....Merry Wilson, Tootie Todd, Esther Williams, Arlene......I forgot that last name.....Pat Hardin.....oh wow I could go on and on.

I remember being in Spanish class when President Kennedy was shot ~ the intercom came on telling us about it....I remember those steps and enjoying looking at one guy who rode a motorcycle to school.....I remember a wonderful Language Arts teacher who made me feel smart (unfortunately I do not remember her name)... I loved going to football games with friends....
I remember not getting into the Keyette Club or Civinette Club so I just joined the Future Farmers of America, Future Teachers of America, and the Future Business Leaders of America.....plus the pep club...Ha!
